French Polynesia + Easter Island 2004

For our fifth wedding anniversary, Karen threw open the big travel coffee table book in our living room and said "I want to go there!" And so we went. The best (and at the time) only way to get to Easter Island was on a flight between Santiago Chile and Papaete, Tahiti. Having already been to Santiago, we headed for French Polynesia to dive and kick it on the beach, and then off to Easter Island to explore the most remote inhabited island on the planet.
