Middle East - 2000

In 2000, we made one of our most ambitious trips to date, a 6 week backpacking trek from Istanbul to Cairo over land. As I type this up in 2025, it seems absurd to have traveled this part of the world but at the time it was safe and, all things being equal, a once in a lifetime experience.
